DRIVER OF “#30” IMCA
MODIFIED
David Baser has been very successful in his racing
career. David has won six track
championships at three different racetracks around central Arkansas. He has numerous feature wins at all
participating tracks plus Tender Wolf Hard Charger Awards at the Batesville
Speedway and Hard Charger Award 2006 I-30 Speedway.

David Baser began racing at the tender age of three, he won
two years in a row the 25-yard Tricycle Races that the Jaycees put on in
Stuttgart. From there he moved up to a
dirt bike, street bike and his first car was a “Firebird”. Later on he would continue his racing career
by converting his “Firebird” into a dirt track stock car, racing at I-30
Speedway. From there he went into the
IMCA modified class and has won track championships at Midway, Beebe
and I-30 Speedways. Baser decided
to try the 3/8 mile track at Batesville Speedway, for several years he placed
in points standings plus several 1st place wins at the track.
In 2005 Baser had an exceptional year - he was the Arkansas
State IMCA Modified Champion, and Beebe Speedway Track Champion. These championships
encouraged Baser to race for the first time in the IMCA's Super
Nationals at Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa. He ranked 80th out of 340
racecars before his wreck the night before the big race on Saturday. Baser's
wreck captured the front page of "Speedway Illustrated" magazine
(January issue 2006) with the caption of "AND THEY RACED THE NEXT
DAY". Baser's crew worked 14 hours to get the car back together to race
the next day, and was given a standing ovation when he rolled back on the track
with the same car the next day. He was in 5th place in his heat race when the
car got hot and forced him off of the track. Baser was also in the February
2006 issue of "Circle Track" magazine.
Just like all good race car drivers Baser
can tell you he’s had his share of mishaps.
Racing is very expensive. This
is one of the reasons why Baser needs YOU to be one of his SPONSORS.
